I sign this because people that are so quick to resort to violence against animals. Show the same propensity to enact the same level of violence to other humans. We do not need cowardly serial killers on the police force.
The video clearly shows the dog was subdued and the LEO was in no way in fear for his life. This LEO needs to be taken off the street and his chief needs glasses and to be removed from duty as well for trying to cover for his subordinate.
I watched the video and officer Howell's cowardly behavior should be considered a liability for the force, unless they condone such and don't mind being sued in the future. That dog was cornered and scared...and was someone's pet.
Can not believe the so called officer got away with MURDER . Law enforcement should have to take a course in dealing with animals, also every police officer should have a dart gun on board so they can knock animals out not just KILL them for no reason
Missouri needs to train their boys scouts...oops I mean police officers how to deal with situations using the Force Continuum. Officer Howell is obviously a little coward if he cannot handle an obviously docile dog without resorting to shooting it in the head TWICE!!!!!!!

Fire and prosecute this man ! He Murdered an innocent animal! After his first shot....the dog was wagging her tail....as he shot her again, killing her.

A prick coward with a badge and a gun. I say that being a LEO myself. This coward puts a black mark against every decent Officer out there and has NO BUSINESS with a badge and gun enforcing any laws in any state. He should be in prison!
