The video clearly shows the dog was subdued and the LEO was in no way in fear for his life. This LEO needs to be taken off the street and his chief needs glasses and to be removed from duty as well for trying to cover for his subordinate.

He Murdered an innocent animal! After his first shot....the dog was wagging her tail....as he shot her again, killing her.

I saw this video with my own eyes on youtube and i could not believe myself. I was infuriated about the cop killing the dog but even more infuriated that he lied to the judge saying "The dog was aggressive and charging..." BLAH BLAH BLAH!!!!!!! If this coward was so scared of a dog on a pole sitting there in the middle of the street as calm as can be.... than maybe he should be put in a psychiatric unit for some time. Because honey.... that is not the job for him.

If this coward was so scared of a dog on a pole sitting there in the middle of the street as calm as can be.... than maybe he should be put in a psychiatric unit for some time. I watched the video and officer Howell's cowardly behavior should be considered a liability for the force, unless they condone such and don't mind being sued in the future. That dog was cornered and scared...and was someone's pet.
