Please complete missing side walk along Morrisville McCrimmon pkwy/LouisStephens Dr
Starting this petitions so Town of Morrisville can construct the missing side walk, see map attached. 100s of people and visiting parents walk/run on the side walk built along Louis Stephens/McCrimmon pkwy/Davis Dr. But there are small sections missing which make it very difficult and unsafe to walk/run on the missing portions. Requesting the missing portions of side walk to be completed.

I have submitted a formal request for a site assessment to the Morrisville planning department this morning. My focus is now on confirming their schedule for infrastructure gap analysis in this corridor.

The volume of support for this infrastructure gap has hit a level that forces the local planning board to take formal notice. I am currently drafting a letter to the public works department to request a meeting on these specific missing sidewalk segments.

Its very hard to walk with children on road without side-walk. Its not at all safe to walk or go out with missing sidewalk.
Please approve this project. I walk this road and it is very unnerving walking alongside speeding cars....speed limit 35 and even 45 in some parts
With the enormous growth of population in the area esp. with in last year and most of us in the near by communities want use the sidewalk to commute to near by business ( Harris teeter) It is very important to have the sidewalk built all the way. It has become absolute necessity.
I appreciate if we can get the side walk as it is becoming very dangerous for the people to walk. This will be great help for communities like Cedar Bend and McCrimmon at the Park.
This is urgently needed, especially since traffic on Louis Stephens has increased because of new communities.
This would help to improve the health of the people living in the city

In the interest of getting exercise and being green, I often like to walk in the neighborhood for long distances. Having a proper sidewalk to cover these portions of the local area would provide a safe path to encourage cyclists, walkers, and joggers.
