My daughter and son-in-law work in the GCPS system. I pray for their safety every day.
I just want school to be a safe place for our children to go without worry of being harmed
We use metal detectors to help keep people safe from gun violence and other weapons at airports, concerts, and sporting events. Our students, teachers, and staff deserve the same at schools.
Metal detectors would make me feel better but this is a bandaid for a larger problem. The majority of Americans support common sense gun laws!
Please also consider clear backpacks like Buford city schools if gun detectors are not an option.
DO THE RIGHT THING!!
Children are our most precious future, protect them!

When are we going restrict anyone besides police or military using or having assualt weapons.
