Due to the recent mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary where 20 children and 6 teachers were gun down unmercifully we need to be more aggressive in ensuring our children have a safe place to learn. I believe that we as parents, family, or friends should ensure the safety of our kids. I am proposing that all schools should have metal detectors at all entrance, and alarms on all windows, to alert staff and students so that mass shootings like Sandy Hook Elementary will not happen again.
