PETITION TO HAVE THE MESA COUNTY COMMISSIONERS EXPAND THE NETWORK OF MOTORIZED COUNTY VESTED INTEREST ROADS BY WAY OF REVISED STATUTE 2477, PRESCRIPTIVE EASEMENTS, AND ANY OTHER MEANS NECESSARY TO PROTECT OUR LEGAL RIGHT TO ACCESS OUR PUBLIC LANDS IN MESA COUNTY. This is in response to the BLM Draft Resource Management Plan released in January 2013. I, Petitioner (signed below), agree with the above statements and feel the BLM’s Preferred Alternative “B” would negatively impact our local economy and my quality of life in Western Colorado. Closing 2,100 miles of motorized routes (67%) and 57% of the OHV Intensive use areas is not acceptable to me.
