High school can get a little stressful especially with the amount of work received. As the years keep going on more and more mental health issues arise in teenagers making them anxious, stressed, depressed, the list goes on. As the times are changing so is the mental state of the many students around the country, therefore students should have a petition for schools to give an education in mental health and 1 or 2 mental health days a month. It would prevent overstress, give students time to be kids, and it even would help out the staff of schools by giving them the same amount of time to spend time with loved ones, and do whatever is needed to continue to teach a good curriculum. As well as the numerous other pros, it would also create a sense of mental health awareness which many schools are trying to increase because it is becoming a more pressing subject in the United States.

I’m doing a petition as well on here to get mental health a class in middle school that give all of the spectrum of this topic and would give that hour or more breaks to relax go climb trees dance yoga,, and more community field trips to learn while moving. It’s mental health education

I also think that schools should educate students about what mental health is, how to recognize symptoms, and how to treat it.

We should have this because school is long and hard and everyone needs a brake in a while to examine their health
