The petition has been created to show support for the Meldon Reservoir Footpath, following news that the western side of the reservoir has been closed to public access. This was a fantastic walk and the news will come as a shock to many. Please show your support - we must get this walk reopened for everyone to enjoy!

Used to walk this with my kids every summer. Absolute madness to close off such a beautiful path. Sort it out.

This was my favourite part of the reservoir. Why are they taking this away from local people? Sad.
