M.C., C.C., Blackie, were all innocent kitty bystanders that got outside and got trapped (never coming back) because they wanted a snack. (They were unknowingly baited with a snack.) Hearing from others, we understand that pooping in others yards is one of the main reasons that the kitties are being trapped. But.....what about the fox or coyote that finds its way into your yard. Or.....the people that walk their dogs on the sidewalk in front of your house, that allow their dogs to poo in your yard. Kitties at least cover their poop, and we have never heard of it not being a good fertilizer. No other animal is being trapped here in Greeley, Colorado. We feel cat trapping is discriminatory. We also feel that it is a form of animal poaching, IE: luring the animal into a trap without any type of license. If it was a hunting issue it WOULD be poaching.
