The city of Corvallis has decided to bait, trap and kill a young cougar who was orphaned and has encroached on surrounding suburbia. As we develop more and more into the surrounding woodlands we should only expect that this would/ and will continue to happen. Does that make killing an appropriate answer NO! That young cougar did nothing wrong, it only followed it's natural instincts, let's not promote killing of innocent animals. Please sign this petition that I will forward to the city of Corvallis in the hopes that they will realize that animals have rights too and killing is NOT an appropriate answer.

My kids and I go hiking near there all the time. Nature exists here too. We have to learn to live with them not just kill whatever is in our way.

DONT KILL IT! Relocate the animal. There are ways to handle this without being so barbaric.

corvallis city council is being lazy. hire a proffesional to move it instead of just shooting it. pathetic.
