Trap, Neuter and Release is a program by which cats are captured then tagged by having a section of their ear cut off; they are also neutered. No distinction is made between stray cats and feral. Since there is no hold on cats, they have no obligation to make a public post or notification that would allow owners to identify their cats before this for-life maiming procedure is carried out.
We should like to see the law regarding TNR altered in two fair and reasonable ways;
1.) Public notification: If strays are captured there must be a reasonable hold placed and a public notification posted to give the owner an opportunity to retrieve the animal before any procedure is carried out.
2. ) No maiming. There will be no further maiming of cats! Cutting of a cats ear is barbaric and the practice must end!

I'm all for controlling feral cat population, but don't go cutting on someone's pet!
What type of degenerate rednecks are cutting the ears off of animals ??!!!!????!!! In every other state when an animal is neutered such as a cat they trim the hair off the top of the ear at the point .... they don't cut the ear off that is ridiculous so why am I not surprised that this is common practice?? Most likely because people suck and we live in a world of the completely stupid and totally ignorant much like the people that are cutting ears off of cats. Those same people should be castrated out of principal alone the ignorant scumbags!!!!

Please stop doing this cruel, and totally unnecessary harm to these helpless animals! There has to be a better way than clipping ears. Neutering I can understand.
I understand trying to control the animal population but cutting an cats ear is not cool.

This program should definitely change their dated methodology and make sure this doesn't happen to anymore non ferral cats.
