I have submitted a formal request for a meeting with the Board of Trustees to present the proposal for the Taylors Lane property. We are currently preparing a site map and a liability analysis to address the primary concerns raised by village officials.

Would enjoy a dog park since hours for dog walking at Harbor Island are so early in morning. Petunia would add her pawprint if she could!
I would love to see a park there, not just a dog park! But also has there been any conversations with the mayor re: the state of the land there? This was / is a highly contaminated site. Are we sure this is the right place and what would it cost to get it up and running? The devil will be in the details!!
I pay $100 a year to allow my dog to use Ward Acres in New Rochelle. I would be thrilled to have a dog park that is within walking distance in the Village of Mamaroneck!
If necessary for upkeep, perhaps an annual pass can be sold to holders of Mamaroneck dog licenses and access limited to those pass holders.
This is long overdue for longtime dog owners. As a new dog owner I would love to be able to stay in my own village to take my dog to the park. Instead I have to travel 15 minutes to find the nearest park.
I have lived here for over 30+. years always wondered why we never had a dog park.
By in large, the dogs in our area are much more friendly than many humans

The park is underused during much of the day and with the coyotes out, it is no longer safe to leave our dogs in our own gardens. The park is a safe way for us to bring both our children and dogs to the park at the same time so that both will be supervised.
