The Town Board is still ignoring our requests for a dog park despite the clear need for a safe space for our pets. I am tired of the excuses about limited resources while our dogs have nowhere to run. They think if they stay silent we will just give up but they are wrong.

The Town Board can no longer pretend we do not exist because this surge of support proves they have ignored our needs for too long. We have the momentum now and we are going to force them to stop wasting our tax dollars and finally build this park.

so many other towns have one already. why not us? my golden retriever needs some friends to run with!
It would be so much safer to have a fenced area. My little terrier gets swamped by the big dogs at the regular park. Need a separate zone.
Keep the dogs away from the kids playing sports. Common sense.
My dog has so much energy and there is literally nowhere around here to let him run off leash without getting in trouble. Hope this happens soon.

YES PLEASE. Colonie needs this bad.
