TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
We, the undersigned, residing in the County of Ulster, hereby petition the Marbletown Town Supervisor as follows: We request the Town establish a fenced in, off-leash dog park where Town of Marbletown and surrounding Ulster County residents can exercise their dogs in a clean, safe environment without endangering or annoying people, property or wildlife; to develop a well-maintained space open to all dog lovers who are willing to uphold the park's rules and regulations; to view this park as a community project, in partnership with the Town of Marbletown, designed to satisfy the needs of dog-owners and non-dog owners alike. Furthermore, a dog park would not only provide a safe place for owners to exercise their canine friends, but it would also provide a place for the community to meet and share a common interest.

I honestly never thought this would gain this much steam when I first typed it up on my laptop late at night and honestly seeing the town start to take notice is just wild to me. It feels like people actually want this space because I keep getting messages from folks I have never even met who just really want a safe spot for their dogs to run around. This momentum is just incredible and it really shows that we all have the same goals for our neighborhood.

PLEASE get this done. We have to drive way too far just to let the dogs off leash
