I have been reviewing the correspondence received by the school board and superintendent regarding our objective of personal choice. It is clear that the administration is aware of our position on this mandate.

The momentum behind this initiative continues to grow at a significant pace. This collective energy serves as a clear indication that personal choice regarding school policies remains a priority for many families.

Please don’t mandate that children wear masks. Let them breath fresh air, see other children’s faces. These kids have had so much time stolen from them already.
My daughter will not wear a mask as she as other health concerns. There is no reason for kids to be wearing these science has proven this over and over
Parents rights in education. Let the families decide what is best for them.
This should be a choice not a requirement and if it is required my child will not attend Colton schools.
No masks mandatory. It should be a choice for our Kids who are not a high risk category!
choice is a personal freedom
There are so many scientific reasons NOT to mask our children. Please allow our kids to return to some sense of normalcy this fall.

FREEDOM of CHOICE to wear a mask or not is what I support!! Our children shouldn’t be forced to cover their faces daily, They need to live normal lives, not live in fear of sickness like their adult examples. It’s so important that children develop a sense of how to read people based on facial expressions. It’s a critical part of social development that they are being deprived of, and it’s all in the name of fear.
