With no traffic control device on Manor Avenue between North Mohawk Street and Baker Avenue the current two-way stop at the intersection of Manor Avenue and Berkley Avenue should become a four-way stop. This would allow children and families to more safely cross Manor Avenue to access the public schools, Berkley Park and more. Adding a traffic control device to facilitate crossing Manor Avenue would enhance the safety of pedestrians, including our children.

I was checking the page just now and the momentum feels completely wild because it really shows people are tired of dodging cars near the park. It is honestly heartening to see neighbors actually agreeing that crossing Manor Avenue shouldn't feel like a high stakes game of chance.

A friend lives on this road and I agree 100% that people speed on it like it’s a race track! I think a light would be better than a 4-way stop only because people are more likely to see it and stop whereas people run stop signs more often by pausing and going than actually stopping.
A friend of mine lives very close to here and sees way too many accidents because people speed up the hill on Manor. A 4 way stop here is a great idea!!!

I moved to Cohoes in June and have already witnessed a collision at the intersection
I actually Drive, run or walk this intersection daily and agree that a four way stop would help to control the flow of traffic.
Time to keep driver safe

There has never been any signs or lights on Manor except for that caution light which didn't do any good maybe they need to put it a few red lights since they are building more houses in that area and taking away all the farm land...
