Lynn W. Martin is a mother, businesswoman and a lawyer. Her education includes a Bachelor of Arts, Associate of Science and a Juris Doctorate. She has over 24 years of hands on profesional work experience with management, training, productivity and quality standards, fraud investigation, mediating, advocating, hiring and firing and working with an ever-changing budget. Her varied professional experience, business ownership experience, community service work and legal skills make her the obvious choice to replace deployed School Board Member Charlie Van Zant. Her work with juveniles over the past seven years has prepared her for addressing social issues that affect academic performance. Dealing with her own son's ADD condition has brought her understanding of children with disabilities and special needs and the responsibility of the school system in these areas.
