Trowbridge and District Chamber of Commerce Lower Car Parking Charges in Trowbridge Online Petition "In 2011, despite objections from residents and businesses in and around Trowbridge and the opposition of the Chambers of Commerce, Wiltshire Council decided to significantly increase parking charge in and around the town centre. Trowbridge and District Chamber of Commerce has subsequently been contacted by many of its members and by other concerned citizens, with details of the detrimental effect that the increased charges have had on their businesses and more generally with visitors to the town parking in residential areas in order to avoid paying for an expensive stay in a car park. Please join us in our campaign to have Wiltshire Council urgently review its car parking charges and reverse the increases that were imposed last year.
