Residents’ Parking Permit Petition
We the undersigned object to Tunbridge Wells Borough Council’s intention to raise residents’ parking permits for vehicles including motorcycles to £60 from £20 just two years ago.
We call upon the Council to debate the proposal in full session before April 1st 2012 when the new charges are due to be implemented.

The exhaustion is setting in but we are nearing two hundred and fifty signatures and cannot afford to lose momentum now. If we reach this milestone it becomes much harder for the council to ignore our opposition to these permit hikes.

One hundred people have signed on to challenge these permit hikes. It has been an exhausting week trying to get anyone in the council office to listen but seeing this number gives me a reason to keep pushing.

The council ignores us until they see a number they cannot overlook. We are climbing toward that first hundred signatures and I need you to push this further so they finally pay attention.

TUNBRIDGE WELLS COUNCIL IS JUST STEALING FROM PEOPLE NOW
Please rethink this. working families cant afford these constant increases on top of everything else.
60 quid is a joke. seriously. and for a motorcycle? get real.
Ridiculous price hike. Enough is enough. We already pay enough council tax and now this grab for cash.
