The stories coming in about the struggle to afford basic care for our pets are heavy to read. I am working behind the scenes to find someone who will actually listen to us because the current situation cannot continue like this.

Seeing this progress helps quiet the exhaustion that comes with doing this work alone. We have real momentum now and I intend to keep pushing until the city recognizes the necessity of this program.
