Before I start don't let these fines stop you from doing the right thing, don't leave them out in the cold. Now do you got unregistered animals? Took In a stray for the winter? Saved an animals life? Sick of not enough shelters? Took initiative? Can't afford vet bills or animal registration? Is 250$ fines per unregistered animal acceptable? If you said no to the last one than chances are you will want to sign my petition, the city needs to know that this is not okay. Profiting off the poor and kind hearted? We make sacrifices for them, only the sacrifices that are possible. Take my friend karlo for example, he has over 20 stray cats that he's saved from the winter weather, something he does annually, he has to give away his cats now because he can't afford registration nor can he afford fines, I'm trying to convince him not too and I recommend everyone else not to be intimidated, this is going to end with the support of the community backing my petition. do you want to see the poor collect more debt for saving lives, do you want to see the city profit from the poor and kind hearted, do you want to see an increase in stray animals putting your animals at risk for disease, do you want to see more animals being put down than there already are. You probably said no to all of these. Put a stop to unregistered animal fines and let the people continue to save lives without the fear of the fine. Do the right thing. Please. For the dogs and cats.
I strongly believe in this. Even I dream to save animals since shelters don't have a free drop off center and so many snails thrown away or hurt it's horrible this will make things so much worse when we should be doing something about the homeless and unwanted animals out there.
