Residents of Skyville @ dawson. We want restricted access to our roof garden. Residents pay high SCC fees n public use n dirty the roof garden. Inviting pest and making it dirty. Putting up notices and CCTV is useless. We get lots of unwanted people n tour groups going up partying till late night, leaving litter behind even with notices n CCTV. I dun think it is useful. Are we allowed to smoke on the roof garden too? We need limited access, for years we have been asking for it, why is the town council reluctant to do it, yet charges resident extra high SCC?

The volume of support from residents has reached a level that necessitates an immediate formal briefing with the Town Council. I am finalizing the language for a letter of demand to secure key card access for our roof garden. Expect a summary of their response after our initial meeting.

The sky parks and roof top garden is supposed to be smoke-free, but it is now filled with non-residents smoking and drinking, creating a nuisance. It also poise a potential danger to elderly, my elderly dad was once threaten by a group of youngsters for sitting at their regular seat? This is outrageous.
Initially I did not think that we should restrict access. I thought we should share the scenic views with the rest. But after several incidents experienced by my neighbors and observations of my own, I think we should consider restricting access.
i had to call the NPP close to 12am on sat night (31 aug). there were teenagers loitering at the sky garden on 47th. they were singing and yelling. this isnt the first time ive had to call the NPP. the NPP sounded very familiar with such reporting and took action to send patrol officers.
Please give approval for this petition as it is very unfair to the residents staying at this estate while we pay for the extra, but outsiders just come and make a mess out of the roof garden. As the garden is quite dim at night, it has also become a place for immoral act for couples.
I agree. I’m disturbed by the noise, pest and second hand smoke entering my home. Why pay higher conservancy rates than other HDBs only to be abused by the public who doesn’t stay here? And the rubbish/litters/damages are not fixed immediately too, often left untouched for weeks till someone complaint. It’s really unacceptable.
RETURN THE PARK TO THE RESIDENTS!!!! >:(

we are paying a premium for the upkeep of the skygarden yet almost every morning, we are greeted with litter. not only that, unrestricted access has provided an avenue for skyville to be a suicide spot.
