We, the homeowners of GVW, would like the GVW Trustees to resolve the litigation with the Builder at your earliest and with minimum financial hardship to Homeowners.
I spent the entire morning staring at these legal documents and honestly the language is so dense it probably makes sense why nobody explains anything to us clearly. I am trying to get a clear answer from the trustees but they just keep hiding behind their lawyers which is exhausting for all of us.

I really never thought this would take off like it has and my coffee is cold because I have been scrolling through all your stories about these construction issues all morning. It feels like the weight of this whole situation is finally shifting now that so many neighbors are speaking up at once.

Seriously just end this. My lawyer fees are way to high for a place that was supposed to be new construction. Get it done already.

I am for quick settlement/end to litigation with builder. At the same time I also believe that if builder has done inferior quality work or taken short cuts, he should be held liable for it.

Requesting trustees to prioritize closing the litigation after carefully weighing the pros vs. cons and applying common sense. The attorneys work for us and get paid to serve us. However, at GVW, it feels like we are letting our attorneys lead the way due to fear (of being sued). This petition should reinforce to the board of trustees that we homeowners care about this litigation deeply and will stand together for you.

I'm sure the trustees can evaluate the expected return from the mediation, so the ask is to end the litigation when the costs (incl. the intangibles such as depreciation of condo values) = return. I strongly urge the board to expedite the litigation withdrawal if this petition reaches a majority consensus within the community. I would also request that the board provides the following at the 2018 homeowners meeting: (a) clear next steps (with substance) based on the voice of majority homeowners in this petition, (b) options to end the litigation while mediation is in progress, if they decide to continue the mediation (with explanation on the logical rationale for continuing it). Thank you.

This is hurting us in every way possible, whether it is refinance, or sales and also bringing a bad reputation to community as a whole. I don't see anything positive by keeping this litigation going, so pls settle this ASAP. Things with attorneys move very slowly unless we put a ton of pressure. I am not sure if its possible but getting 2nd legal opinion could be an option as well.

Would like to see a definite timeline to resolve the builder litigation/negotiation. We can not afford to drag this forever
