About time something was done. The park is pitch black and it just feels like a magnet for trouble. Just put some lamps up already!
I refuse to walk through there after 5pm in the winter, its way too sketchy. My housemate got followed last month and we are all so paranoid now.
ITS SO DARK IN THERE U CANT SEE A THING. Needs sorting ASAP before someone gets properly hurt.
its honestly terrifying walking home from the library at night. i try to avoid cutting through but sometimes its the only way. we need lights.
Living in Hyde Park is great but the park itself is a massive issue. Everyone knows to stay away after dark but we really shouldnt have to live like that.

The first thing that was said on the first day of university as a fresher in Leeds was how dangerous Hyde park was and not to go through on a night or on your own. I have heard of many incidents which have happened in Hyde park and would not like it to happen to me, my friends or family members.
