I spent the evening walking around Southwick Rec and the lack of visibility is even more terrifying than I realized. The stories you are sharing about feeling unsafe here are heartbreaking and only confirm why we cannot stop fighting for these lights.

Seeing this kind of momentum brings me so much relief after everything our local kids have endured in the dark. It is clear that I am not the only one haunted by what happened at the park and this overwhelming support gives me hope that we can finally force a change.

total joke that the council expects kids to hang out in a park with zero lighting. its an accident waiting to happen.
Fix the lighting. It is scary to walk past there after work. Should have been sorted months ago.

My son wont even go there anymore after what happened. It is pitch black down there at night. We need lights there now before someone else gets hurt.
