Dublin City Council, stop being dim and restore the street lighting levels to the former safe standard. Lighten up and show a spark of illumination to help us to see clearly again.
The momentum behind this request for street lighting restoration is now undeniable. This support indicates a clear consensus that public safety in Dublin must remain a primary concern for the council.

Nearly tripped twice in one night recently it's so dark; also bringing increased anti-social behaviour. They're LED lights, surely they can just be turned up a notch?!

Tempe View Place is a disgrace. No lighting deterrent to stop vagrants jumping over boundary from Greenwood as it's in complete darkness

The new lights in Clarehall are useless unless your standing directly under them, the light does not spread and light up the area in the dark, crime has soared at night and so many people feel unsafe in their homes still these lights were introduced

As a victim of a car robbery only 2 weeks ago I urge the council to reinstate our previous level of lighting. Our house is in complete darkness and it's simply not good enough especially being so close to a pedestrian entrance to the estate

I have already emailed twice but got the same generic reply. Hopefully this petition will make dcc review the lighting in Clarehall

It’s terrifying walking out at 5am to a bus stop 6 mins away not being able to see in the distance, it’s terrifying to see the increased crime in the area, we’ve never had a crime rate in the area until these new ( low cost) lights/ bulbs were installed, it’s just not adequate
