The county council has cut the funding for street lighting in Northamptonshire. We feel that although money will be saved on the lighting, that spending will go up in other areas such as policing due to raised crime caused by poor lighting in certain areas. We beloive it would be more benificial to have our lights turned back on.

Its pitch black walking back from the station at night. Honestly feels so unsafe now and its only a matter of time before someone gets hurt.

Total joke. They spend money on useless projects but cut the lights so we cant see where we are walking. Put them back on!
