We feel that the timing of the meeting was not fair due to the fact that it was held during a time when most families take vacations and may not be available to attend.
We encourage the board to hold a special member meeting so that the voices of the community may be heard and reconsider their decision.
Additionally, we would like the rewrite of the Article II Guidelines to be postponed until such a time as the matter of the Lifeguards is resolved.

I have been hearing from so many of you about how much the pool experience has changed already and honestly it makes my heart sink because it feels like they just assumed we would all be too busy over the holidays to notice what happened. I am currently trying to get a straight answer out of the board members about whether they will even grant us a special meeting so please just bear with me while I keep trying to get a response from them.

Ridiculous decision to hold that meeting when everyone was away. Do it again when we can actually show up.
sneaky. holding meetings when people are out of town is a real bad look for the board.
Safety should be the number one priority for the club. Saving a few bucks is not worth a tragedy.
This is honestly so reckless. Kids are in that lake all summer long and the board knows it. Fix this before something bad happens.
My grandkids swim there every single day. I dont feel safe letting them go now. bring the guards back!!!

Get lifeguards back on duty immediately. Lake is too busy to have zero supervision.
