The momentum behind this effort is undeniable and shows how many neighbors reject these new street lamps. Post this link on your Facebook page right now and email our local board members to demand a stop to this project.

Instead of spending the money on the street lights which I agree we do not need, hire an arborist to trim the trees on Bay Hill Drive, which is much needed. Only a real arborist knows how to trim trees. Much needed!

Need more info. This potential light pollution will interfere with my planned landscape lighting installation for 2022 thus diminishing our investment/potential added property value and curb appeal at night.

In another community I lived in all lights had to point downwards and were cupped to prevent lateral lighting. Reason: Residents wanted to enjoy the nighttime sky. I don't think we need more lighting.

This board is out of control with spending everyone's money on a few that might benefit. I am also dealing with potential favoritism by the board for a board member regarding hard landscape property line encroachment. If there is no crime, then why spend the dime?

As a resident here in the community since the end of 1996, i am opposed to the additional lighting, and the impact it poses from several standpoints.

I Say no to proposed lighting plan. for the following reasons. Some of considerations were not given to: 1 Light pollution 2 Dark compliant fixtures 3 light trespass 4 Scotopic effect 5 DLC approved. 6 Photometric spacing A good example of what not to do is the entrance lighting at the gate. These fixtures were apparently retrofitted with LED "Corn Cob" units which, I suppose were to save energy . This is a terrible choice it creates an ugly "Glare Bomb" at the first impression of BHE and is down right dangerous as they are right in the line of sight of the drive lane, and is the most energy efficient choice. FPLs program to lease the lighting proposed is designed for them to sell off peak power and does not address the considerations above and certainly not in our best interests. To add to my frustration. I volunteered my 40 years of professional lighting experience to the board and committee heads at least 3 times and never even got a response once.

The lights in Bay Hills are dawn to dusk now and so will the new ones.

I tried to vote yes but your survey only allows no votes which does not appear to be a very honest petition. Please remove my No vote if you cannot change it to Yes and have an honest and fair petition.
