I was just staring at the wall in the village hall trying to imagine where the screen would look best if we actually pull this off. Some of you have been telling me about the old movies you want to see here and honestly the list is getting long but I love that kind of problem. It really feels like we are building something here even if I am just currently sending emails and eating way too many biscuits while I wait for a reply.

I honestly cannot believe how fast this is moving and seeing everyone talk about the potential movie nights in Gotherington has me absolutely buzzing. I keep thinking about how great it will be to finally have a proper projector in the hall and honestly your enthusiasm is just blowing my mind right now.

This would be brilliant for the kids on weekends instead of having to drive all the way into town for a film.
YES PLEASE. We really need something like this in the village.
fingers crossed we get it! the hall is already lovely since the refurb so this is just the icing on the cake really.
cant wait to see movies on a big screen locally!
The village hall would work really well as a cinema with the recent investment in new chairs and the acoustic panels.We have had some fantastic turnouts in the past when we showed the Royal Wedding and world cup football.
A cinema would be amazing for the village.

Gotherington is such a great community and a cinema would bring everyone together even more.
