Canal Walk’s Sunday Cinema is a movie group viewing classic films that has grown from a dozen residents to over 70 residents in just two years. The group meets monthly in the Clubhouse Ladies Card Room and presently views films on a small TV that has proved difficult for the many adult residents with hearing and visual impairments.
We, the undersigned, are requesting Board approval and funding of a larger, 72” TV, wall mounted, with surround sound, to accommodate the growing group of residents for a better viewing experience. This purchase will benefit the entire community.

I would simply like to underscore that, as the petition indicates, the suggested updated TV would indeed benefit many residents and groups in the community who use the TV for their events/gatherings (i.e. Cinema Group, Opera Club, among others). The current TV is dated and the relatively small screen provides a horizontally elongated view that somewhat distorts the viewing experience). As many groups become ever more active and our resident community continues to enlarge, this would be a wonderful time for this worthy upgrade! Thanks for the consideration!
The better to see it, with these old eyes. Louder volume would be helpful, too for my aging ears.
Good idea ... will serve many groups.
I feel we need a large scale tv in order for a large group of people to be able to participate in activities that require it
So many of us are enjoying this experience of watching and discussing movies,. However the TV is much too small for us to view . Please consider the purchase of a large screen which would be greatly appreciated.

We need a larger screen . You can not see well if you are sitting in the back of the room. All of us can't squeeze in the front.
