This tragedy severaly affected the life of very good friends of mine who I consider family. Having lost his sister to such a gruesome murder has taken a severe mental and emotional toll on my close friend and seeing this murderer go free would be a travesty.

His release will not bring Shari back. He should not have a chance to live as he chooses. He murdered Shari's chances forever of a life here with us. He needs to serve life in jail as intended. Parole should not be an option. We how love and miss Shari don't have an option why should he. Keep him in jail Please.

Any man who can murder a young woman not to mention the daughter of the person you love; hire a hit man to kill the witness to save himself is capable of killing again. The release of Lewis Scharff would be a threat to all society. Keep him behind bars where he belongs. The safety of society is paramount to the freedom of a murder.

I knew Shari since I was born. Our families were close friends for as long as I can remember. Shari was a friendly and outgoing sweet young girl who was taken from us violently and robbed of her future by this twisted murderer who deserves to be behind bars and off our streets.

He took the life if his stepdaughter and planned to kill a witness and involved his son. Who's to say he won't try again. The family of this young lady will be looking over their shoulders for the rest of their lives. They have suffered enough
