My Name is Jaclyn Davey and I am pleading for your help with my petition to keep my fathers murderer in prison. Please Do Not grant a parole date to the aforementioned convicted murder, Norman Simmons NYSDIN # 92b2087. The heinous nature of this crime should preclude this man any considerations for leniency. On November 5, 1991 Norman broke into the home of his former friend Mr. Davey and proceeded to stab him more than 10 times in his chest, ultimately killing him. Mr. Simmons showed no remorse for his crime. His actions on that day have torn apart my entire family. We are still grieving our horrible loss. Your help with this petition would be greatly appreciated by our entire family. Mr. Simmons was given a sentence of 20 years to life and I believe that he should serve out his entire term.
