Our elected officials and City of Amarillo management would like us to believe that our tax dollars will not be used for their "revitalization" projects, including a convention hotel, the multipurpose event venue, and the parking garage. The truth is that your tax dollars have ALREADY been used and will CONTINUE to be used for infrastructure, maintenance and upkeep of these projects. Please sign this petition to demand that the Amarillo City Council put downtown redevelopment on the ballot and let us vote on it. We have been kept in the dark and mislead for far too long. Let the people be heard!
