The pinnacle of 4 years of High School, is the Graduation Ceremony. A special part of that ceremony is seeing the proud and smiling faces of parents, loved ones and teachers. To deny both the students and teachers of this moment, seems deeply unfair. The graduating classes of 2015 deserve the same wonderful memories of their special day, as the graduating classes before them. Please allow the teachers to come to the ceremony. We all know the last day of classes are really not that meaningful, but this day for the graduates certainly is. Perhaps, the 24th could be changed to a half day to allow the teachers to attend? The strike was difficult and stressful for the Grade 12 students. At least let them end their high school years on a happy note. They deserve that much. Please bend the rules a bit to make this happen.

The momentum behind this is clear and the school board can no longer ignore how much this means to our graduates. It is time for these bureaucrats to stop hiding behind their rigid rules and finally give these kids the celebration they earned.

We came so far the past four years and the teachers have helped us along the way, doesn't seem realistic with them not there.
No question ... teachers must attend grad ceremonies .... our children deserve what everyone else has had at their grad! !
I hope the teachers are there to celebrate my sisters graduation because I know that I would want the same!
It is important that my grand daughter be able to say a final goodbye to her teachers.
The students, their parents and the teachers should ALL be present on this very important and special day for the grads. The classes being taught on the 24th will likely not have any great significance for the other grades, nor will that day stand out for them over time. However, the memories for the graduating class, will last a lifetime! Let's give them the memories they deserve.
This is getting ridiculous, honestly they need to grow up and allow the teachers there
I hope to see the teachers at my daughter's graduation!

Sad to know that all the time teachers invest into their students cant even end on a happy note, not being able to see their pupils graduate. Wish your cause luck.
