Dear director, Mr Chris Bromham:
Through this email, and through most of the parents’ approval, we want to seek the option of parents coming to the Grade 12 graduation. The pandemic has been difficult for all of us, through seeing our children being trapped at home for approximately 4 months, there’s families that were separated for 10 months, and particularly, there is a mother that no longer accompanies us due to the same cause, COVID-19. Since there is little time left for our grade 12 children to finish school, we want to please ask you to let us attend the graduation to see our children graduate in person. We are not asking for much, simply be there, following the appropriate restrictions and having two members per child( father and mother). We have seen that other schools in Madrid have been able to do it, we should also be able to have this emotion.

I have been reading every single story you all shared about the months we spent separated from our children. We are currently working on a formal proposal to ensure the school sees how safely we can celebrate this milestone together.

Surely there is a way to carry out a ceremony safely. Graduation is such a significant part of a student's life, and everything possible should be done to make it happen, especially given what students have had to sacrifice this year already.
Every student deserves to celebrate the success of completing high school with a proper graduation ceremony and with at least their parents or 2 family members present. It is a pivotal point in life for teenagers and all the more so having completed high school during such challenging times. The worst of the Covid pandemic is behind us, it is a worthy cause to celebrate the success of these students with a graduation where parents or fsmily are able to attend. Thank you.
Would love to see my granddaughter have a real graduation ceremony. Youngsters have had to go through enough missing out on lots. One does not have to invite everybody to keep the amount of attendance down.
Other schools are having the graduation with the parents: Sek, Agustinos, Highlands..
Ho all! Estamos todos soñando con este día, ahora que han levantado el estado de alarma. Todos los dias cientos de alumnos han venido al cole interactuando entre ellos sin difundir el virus. Lo habéis gestionado muy muy bien. Con Aire distancia y mascarillas y una pizca de suerte (Madrid es una isla feliz en el panorama internacional). Cancha de football y cancha de baloncesto? Padres 2 a 2 pegados entre ellos y distranciados de los demàs? Nada de comida y bebidas con mascarillas obligatorias para todos todo el tiempo (!) y después de la ceremonia un photocall “ordenado” y padres para casa!!! fuera del cole!

Please reconsider. The kids have worked so hard and they really need this moment with their parents to feel closure after such a rough year. We will follow any rules you put in place.
