The board finally folded and agreed to our terms for compensation. Xcite thought they could bleed us dry but they were dead wrong. Stay ready because we will hold them to every single penny of this settlement.

Please include me as part of the Xcite Shareholders Action Group.

The purpose of the Group is to initially explore the possibility of legal action against Xcite Energy and it's Directors for recompense of direct financial losses suffered by the Shareholders.

I am prepared to contribute £ 100.00 to such a legal fund.

No money is required as yet - expressions of interest are all that is required, pending further communication, with money to eventually be held in a trustee/ escrow account, should there be sufficient interest.

Should sufficient funds be pledged, contact will be made with suitable Legal Firms, remit for action agreed and quotes received.

The momentum behind this fund is proof that the Xcite directors cannot hide from their failures anymore. We are building the real leverage needed to drag them into court and force them to account for every cent they burned.

They should have raised the money from the market not the loan sharks. Incompitant baffoons or con artists? we need to know £100 to help find out is worth it.! Peter

I am not a member of III but I follow the discussions closely. I am extremely grateful that there are people with the drive to pursue this further. I wish to register my support for these people with my contribution to the legal fund.

I support the fund and looking into the possibility of legal action would justify every penny spent. Even though it may be difficult to prove there are grounds to argue a case against directors for gross negligence in carrying out their duties. For instance, if they considered insolvency as a possibility in 2015 why did they not pursue the avenue of an unenforced sale as a safety net?

I have 101,000 shares and sit on a loss of £100k + I would definitely like to contribute and establish whether we have legal grounds for action

Agree in principle altho' not really seeing what liquid asset XEL has that can be attached in the event of success. Cole and his chums apparently have "Directors insurance" cover. So, maybe this could pay out. Poss. should be looked into? (Unfortunate downside Cole etc., might avoid the bankruptcy they richly deserve.)
