I am hearing from parents every day about the dangerous traffic near the school gates. Please email your local councillor right now to demand they fund a crossing guard for our children. We need to keep the pressure on until they give us a direct answer.

the speed also needs reduced on this road i was there again this morning and had a near miss due to a car travelling too fast x don't let it take someone's death to make changes happen x
Laygate doesn't have 1 lollipop lady around that srea but around ashley road area there is between ashley rd and stanhope rd, 1 between ashley school and mortimer school, 1 between ashley rd and harton moor and THREE at the grwy ben roundabout! Give us 1 of them if they can't afgord to pay someone else!
Cllr Malcolm has been funding improvements and we have been trying to make things safer. I have repeatedly asked for a SCP here sine I started. Hopefully this petition may help.
my son go's to laygate school and we have nearly been hit by a car. I work across the road from the school and it a very busy road all the time. I can not understand why they took away the lollypop man/woman but yet the nook area has two lollypop persons and not one at laygate all school's should have them.
we need a lollipop lady at laygate community school as the zebra crossing is not working it has been proved by all the near accidents and accidents that has happened .
after myself and my son shay were nearly knocked ourselves outside laygate school and seen numerous near misses something needs to been before aomwone is killed!!
There is a definate need for a lollipop person to keep the children safe.

I can't believe this, I went to Laygate infants and juniors in 70s and there was a child killed outside of the school , I never thought theyd remove the lolly pop person after that , absolutely outraged .
