Students at Laurier Brantford are not given the same consideration as those at the Waterloo campus. One of the main concerns is that Waterloo students are being given the chance to use their One Cards as bus passes all year around, including the spring/summer semesters. The Brantford campus however, does not have this offered to them, even for full time spring/summer students. Many students rely on the bus system to get them to and from school, work, and home. Without the buses students will not be able to afford to get themselves around the city without buying a very expensive bus pass that only lasts two months. Sign this petition if you believe that the Brantford campus students deserve the same consideration as the Waterloo students, less students does not mean less opportunity for educational growth!

We pay enough in tuition...and MANY students who are FORCED to pay for those transit passes don't use them AT ALL. I'm sure if you factored that into things, it would not be a big deal to let students ride in the spring and summer semesters!
It is ridiculous the students aren't allowed to use them all year round. It benefits the local businesses as well as the students. The students save and the businesses get the opportunity for not only increased consumer traffic but increased consumer traffic with a little more money to spend because the have not had to shell out for the pass! This is a no-brained!
As someone who doesn't have a car year round or the money to pay for a bus pass all the time, I find it would be nessessary to have full time busing while I'm in brantford for the next few years
This is a simple issue that should have been addressed a while ago, students enrolled year round should get (and often need) an option to opt-into year round transit passes without having to pay for the inflated summer pass when they have already been a customer all year.
If Waterloo campus students get year round transit than Brantford campus students deserve it too!

Do the right thing and allow students to use one cards for transportation. This should be common sense!

For those students who stay in Brantford and bring the capita for the city up - they deserve bus passes that work during the summer. These students are contributing to the city by working full-time and investing into Brantford. The least you can do to repay them is give them a working bus pass (that they pay to have in their tuition)
