Do the right thing and allow students to use one cards for transportation. This should be common sense!

YES! We need this as students, especially if we are paying rent at student houses in brantford during the summer months and are living there, as well if some university students live too far away from home to go back

I believe it is so important for us to have access to the local bus transit. I personally have work off campus and a monthly bus can be expensive.... I think this can really help all students!

Pretty sad that a university like this has a standards issue. Maybe students should be aware of the benefits of going to another campus to save some $$$$$$. This is definitely the city of Brantford taking advantage of the student and the university not fighting for their students. Hey Mayor and council how about worrying about our future not your own pocket?
Head Master, do you actually care about the students in Brantford? The campus probably didn't want the students to know their rights anyways!
But hey might as well raise tuition and books while your at it. Proud of you for speaking up!

This would have been so helpful during the summer! Many students take summer courses and we should be able to continue to take the bus using our passes instead of paying our of pocket. Even if it costs a little more for tuition, it's worth it.

For those students who stay in Brantford and bring the capita for the city up - they deserve bus passes that work during the summer. These students are contributing to the city by working full-time and investing into Brantford.
The least you can do to repay them is give them a working bus pass (that they pay to have in their tuition)

We pay enough in tuition...and MANY students who are FORCED to pay for those transit passes don't use them AT ALL. I'm sure if you factored that into things, it would not be a big deal to let students ride in the spring and summer semesters!

It is ridiculous the students aren't allowed to use them all year round. It benefits the local businesses as well as the students. The students save and the businesses get the opportunity for not only increased consumer traffic but increased consumer traffic with a little more money to spend because the have not had to shell out for the pass! This is a no-brained!

As someone who doesn't have a car year round or the money to pay for a bus pass all the time, I find it would be nessessary to have full time busing while I'm in brantford for the next few years

This is a simple issue that should have been addressed a while ago, students enrolled year round should get (and often need) an option to opt-into year round transit passes without having to pay for the inflated summer pass when they have already been a customer all year.
I'm a summer student, this would be great.
