We are petitioning Lansdale Borough Council to make the investment into the building at 311 West Main Street for the use of a multi purpose arts center.
By investing today we can continue the revitalization efforts already started and preserve art in our community for generations to come. But, we need your help.

The momentum behind this building at 311 is getting impossible for the Borough Council to ignore. They have been stalling on our arts center for too long and now they have to face the fact that this community is finished waiting.

FIX UP THE BUILDING ALREADY. its just sitting there rotting away. great location for a center.
Lansdale really needs this. tired of driving to philly just to see some local art or catch a show.
There is so much we could do for children if we create a theater for them to participate and perform on stage. One format is the court martial format because it provokes drama in the process of learning about the history of the United States . It becomes the ideal system of students teaching students. I wrote a script about the Court Martial of General Benedict Arnold played at the Valley Forge National Historical Theater several years ago which was a success. Methacton High School students played the roles of Hamilton and other Founding Fathers and the audience was extremely happy to see their children act on stage. We need more of this experience to teach our children American History. Indeed, we do need a theater on Main Street. We owe it to the memory of the heroes who encamped at Valley Forge. There are3 other examples that will allow our children to show how much they learned about the greatest country in existence: The USA!

PLEASE!!! we need a space for the kids to go after school. keeping them busy with art is so much better than them hanging out at the train station.
