A Inmate at ky River regional jail is being told he can't go to his Dr appointment for his cancer and that when he runs out of his meds that they will not be able to refill it.. we have contacted DOC and filled a report.. we have tried everything to get him moved to a medical facility and no luck..they are no equipped to house Mr.Fugate.as of this day they are still housein him.Mr.Fugater helped build the be jail from ground up..
The lack of response from the facility remains deeply concerning while Mr. Fugate continues to wait for the medical care he requires. I have spent these past few days reaching out to additional external oversight agencies to document the ongoing denial of his essential treatment.

Seeing the growing momentum behind this call for justice brings a sense of gravity to what we are facing. This level of attention serves as a stark reminder that dignity in medical care is a fundamental expectation that cannot be ignored.

I know Mr.Fugate and he is such a great person. He deserves to go to the doctor, get his medicine and have his chance at life just like everyone else, regardless of him being an inmate. Love u Lou!!!

I don’t normally do things like this, but my grandmother just passed away of lung and bone cancer in May of this year.... without her meds, chemo, and radiation my grandmother wouldn’t have lived as long as she did. No matter how bad the person, crime, or whatever reason someone is not receiving the health care they deserve, some type of action needs to be taken to help this person receive this medical attention.
