We the undersigned, hereby petition the City & County of Hawaii Island, to accept the parcel of land located below the Kona Scenic Park that is being donated by Oceanside 1250. For the development of a parking lot. With the constant use of this park for sports activities, there continues to be an inadequate amount of parking not only for Kona residents but also for visiting families across the island. In addition the search for adequate parking either creates an inconvenience for Kona Scenic residents, illegal parking for families using the park, not to mention an unsafe environment for our precious children that participate in park events.

That park really needs more parking, has needed it for a very long time. Now a days a lot more people are using for sports or just exercising. Plus it frees up the street within the residences.

its getting dangerous with all the cars parked on the side of the road when games are going on. kids running everywhere and people cant see them. just pave the lot already
