The Board of Directors of The Kingwood Lakes South Community Association (“Barrington”) invites you to participate in a petition concerning the safety and traffic control within the Barrington subdivision.

The Barrington is a private subdivision. Consequently, safety and traffic rules are governed by the HOA. To further enhance safety and traffic control, and in the best interest of the community, the HOA’s Board of Directors want to request that local law enforcement for the city and county assist the HOA in its monitoring and enforcement of traffic rules and regulations. The enforcement of such traffic rules by the city and county can only be extended to our private subdivision if the HOA can obtain a minimum approval of twenty-five percent (25%) of Barrington’s owners by petition pursuant to the Texas Transportation Code § 542.008. You can learn more about the Code at: https://codes.findlaw.com/tx/transportation-code/transp-sect-542-008.html. At present, the HOA's Board has no plans to change the current speed limit.

If you, as a Barrington owner, approve the additional enforcement of traffic control by city and county law enforcement, please provide your signature below. PLEASE NOTE THAT YOUR INFORMATION WILL NOT BE SHARED NOR DISCLOSED WITH A THIRD PARTY.

Thank you.
