We the Maxwell Park Elementary School parents, educators, neighbors, and/or concerned citizens of Oakland, believe that Maxwell Park Elementary School should remain an open, viable, and public institution for educating our children. We wholeheartedly support Principal Ruben Aurelio as an integral part of the team and insist that he receive full support from the Oakland Unified School District as the school enters into a phase of Restructuring or Reconstitution. We are committed to working together as a diverse community to improve our public elementary school. We are certain that with a safe, respectful environment and outstanding teaching, every child can excel in their education.
