The Oakland Unified School District management continues to dodge our emails while they plot to dismantle our neighborhood school. I am spending every waking hour fighting their board members and they are terrified of the pressure we are building.

The Oakland Unified School District is finally starting to feel the heat from our movement. We are building real momentum and they cannot ignore our demand to keep Maxwell Park open any longer.

Been a neighbor for 20 years. Max park needs to stay open.
Maxwell park is the heart of this neighborhood. keeping it open is the only option.
My kids go here and we love the community. Dont shut us down ousd!!
Principal Aurelio is doing a great job. He cares about the kids and listens to us parents. Keep him there!

This school has been here forever. You cannot just close it because of budget stuff. Think about our kids.
