This petition is for the people of Thornaby to show how much the service Thornaby Town Taxis in Thornaby Town Centre means to them. As from the 30th May 2012 TTT has been told that they will no longer have permission from the Centre manager to provide this service. We have since found out that Stockton Borough Council and the town centre manager have made an agreement that the taxi lay by will be made a 3 car Hackney Rank and the 3 spaces that TTT currently occupy will then be open for Private Hire Vehicles to wait for fares. We feel that during the time we have occupied these bays we have provided an excellent and professional service to the customers of The pavilion Shopping Centre and ASDA.
