The momentum behind this fight proves that the Nova Scotia government cannot just ignore our future to save a few bucks. They thought we would stay quiet while they gutted our support system but this surge of pressure shows exactly how wrong they are.

My loan payments are already killing me. That money was the only thing making staying here possible.
This is ridiculous. How are we supposed to pay off these loans if they keep taking away every bit of help we get? Just another reason to head to Alberta I guess.
SO ANGRY about this! We work hard and study hard and then get punished for it. Do better.
I was actually planning on staying here after I graduate but this makes it so much harder to justify. keep the rebate!
total joke. cost of living is already sky high here. fix it.

The govt always talks about keeping young people in the province but then they go and do stuff like this. makes no sense.
