The PCs promised better funding for post-secondary education. But instead, they delivered a 7% cut to funding for universities and colleges.
These cuts mean that attending college or university will become even less affordable and accessible for Alberta students, in a province where fewer young people attend post-secondary than anywhere else in the country.
Sign the petition to tell the Alberta government to reverse their drastic, damaging cuts to Alberta's colleges and universities!
The petition has reached one thousand signatures. This milestone confirms that many Albertans are deeply concerned about the future of our post-secondary institutions.

The feedback I have received from students and faculty reveals the growing strain these financial decisions place on our classrooms. I am currently reaching out to provincial representatives to ensure they understand the long-term consequences of this policy. Further updates regarding their responses will follow.

Bring back quality education, health care and social services for all citizens and build a healthier community. Canada will be a better and stronger nation with advancement of higher education at an affordable cost. Do not penalize the next few generations for greed, money and a poor vision for their and Canada's future.

It's disgraceful that this Government holds Post-Secondary Education with so little regard.
