PLEASE SIGN TO CONVINCE THE UNIVERSITY OF LINCOLN TO BRING BACK THE 500 POUNDS FOR COMPLETING THE YEAR! Whether youre a student or just concerned for student welfare your signature will make a difference! Hey guys and girls, whether you know or not up until this year Lincoln University gave 500pounds to each student for completing there year (40% of each module) HOWEVER after many rumours and much digging around I can confirm (100% official) that the fee was removed for this years intake. 1. This was not publicised widely, SU helpers where talking about in uni tours, no leaflet was sent by the uni, lasts students were in the dark as to whether they would get the fee, when this was brought up at a student rep meeting the staff of the faculty in question were unsure themselves. 2. Why would the university remove this now with the recession it is harder for students to get part time jobs with business cutting hours and people taking jobs for students to subsidise this. The 500pounds would greatly help students during the summer period in a time of high unemployment 3. WHERE WAS OUR SU, NUS Apparently this snuck through without anything being done about it.
